At
the Indian Journal of Innovative Clinical Research, we strive to ensure
a seamless experience for authors and readers. However, we understand that
circumstances may arise where authors or subscribers may need to cancel
services or request refunds. Our policies for cancellation and refund are
outlined below:
1.
Article Processing Charges (APC)
Once
an article is submitted and accepted for publication, the corresponding author
is required to pay the applicable APC to proceed with publication. Please note
the following in relation to cancellations and refunds:
- Withdrawal After Acceptance:
If an author wishes to withdraw an accepted manuscript, a cancellation fee
of 30% of the APC will be applied. This fee covers the administrative and
editorial costs incurred during the review and acceptance process.
- Pre-publication Cancellation:
If the manuscript is withdrawn before acceptance or publication, no APC is
applicable, and no fees will be charged.
- Post-publication:
Once an article is published online, APC payments are non-refundable.
2.
Membership Cancellation
For
institutions, individuals, and organizations subscribing to our membership
plans, the following cancellation and refund policies apply:
- Before Activation:
If a membership is canceled before activation, a full refund will be
provided.
- After Activation:
Once the membership benefits have been accessed, including submission
privileges or discounts, the membership is considered active, and no
refunds will be issued.
- Automatic Renewal:
Membership renewals are automatic unless canceled before the renewal date.
No refunds will be provided for charges incurred after the renewal unless
canceled before the activation of the new membership period.
3.
Reprint Orders
Reprint
orders for published articles can be canceled within 48 hours of the order
being placed. After 48 hours, the order processing begins, and cancellations
will not be allowed. Refunds will not be provided for completed reprint orders.
4.
Refund Process
All
refund requests must be submitted in writing to kmc.zetline_support@ijicr.com. Upon
receipt of a valid request, refunds will be processed within 10-15 business
days. All refunds will be made to the original payment method.
5.
Dispute Resolution
If
you believe that you have been charged in error or have any disputes related to
APCs, memberships, or reprint orders, please contact our support team at
kmc.zetline_support@ijicr.com within 30 days of the transaction date. We will work
promptly to resolve any issues.
